This was ok, I guess.

"It wasn’t my favourite book of all time. It was exciting, but centered around history, which isn’t my favourite thing to read about in general. Overall, it maintained a sense of wonder and magic that is hard not to admire."

Historical, Fantastical, & Magical

"Historical fantasy set in Ancient Egypt where a young heroine sets out on a adventure to find how her parents died. Filled with intrique, magic, suspense, rivals-to-lovers romance and a race to find Cleopatra's Tomb. The Mummy meets Death on the Nile meets Indiana Jones."

If you liked The Mummy movie you will love this

"I’ve loved The Mummy movie with Rick and Evie and always wondered if there was a book with same vibe! Well this is it! Inez and Whit to me are Evie and Rick in the best way! There’s mystery and magic and some history if you like that, but the chemistry between the main characters is what got me to read this book 3 times already! Cannot wait for the sequel! One of the best books I’ve read in a long time!"
