Great basics
"Great beginner cookbook, recipies are simple enough while introducing cooking with herbs and interesting flavour combinations. They take a basic meal and teach you how to elevate it - for example roasted squash but with tarragon, sage and mint."
— Andy (4/5)

Not entirely simple but delicious
"Delicious and unique. “Simple” is a bit of an exaggeration. I’ve made many recipes (the non cooked cheesecake is a revelation)"
— Michelle (5/5)
Simple (sort of)
"A major appeal of this book is that it is a visual treat. The photos are wonderful. I have been looking at Ottolenghi recipes online for a long time but he is known to call for many (many!) ingredients many of which are difficult to find outside urban areas. Of course, the title ""SIMPLE"" called my name and since I had an Indigo gift card, I made the leap. There are still some ingredients that I cannot purchase locally but there are still recipes that I know I will use."
— Barbara (5/5)
Great cookbook
"Great cookbook, very simple and accessible recipes that are delicious!"
— Vicc (5/5)
Richly flavourful food easily prepared
"Ottolenghi's ""Jerusalem"" is my favourite cookbook of all time both for the recipes and the fabulous photos but ""Ottolenghi Simple"" takes it down a notch and offers quicker recipes that offer some of the most flavourful food you'll ever make. Most recipes have a nod to Persia but many have the heat of north Africa. His instructions are usually very clear and his style is open to substitutions. You can't go wrong with any Ottolenghi cookbook."
— Wabou (4/5)
Perfect cookbook for trying a range of cuisine
"Great cookbook for anyone looking to try out some new dishes without necessarily having to buy a host of new ingredients. Loving how 90% of what I need I already have. Very manageable recipes for those looking to up their meals!"
— Matt (5/5)
Delicious
"Wonderful recipes that are easy to cook and use a few unique ingredients."
— Sandi (5/5)
