Reviews

I didn't think the title was reinforced by the story at all. I know we can't expect everyone of her books to be great however she is capable of writing a good mystery. I will find another of her books

"I read the grey wolf and loved it. Fatal Grace I was disappointed in. It started out slow. I was skipping pages just so I could eventually find the tension and suspense which was in her other book. I wouldn't recommend this book to readers. Too much time was spent with Ruth and others trivial talk and not enough time spent on writing a mystery."

An Entertaining Read

"This is the second book in the Inspector Gamache series. The characters are described very well. I could envision them in my mind. I could also picture the setting very well. Being a bilingual Canadian, this novel instilled a sense of pride in my heritage and in the author’s gift of storytelling."

A Fatal Grace

"Louise Penny is an intelligent, thoughtful and crafty author weaving her multilayered storytelling into an easy read. I recommend her whole series. Interestingly, the depth of her characters stay with you, in their humanity, humility, and vulnerabilities. Rich in setting the landscape, the familiarities and the unknowns, making you think and wonder, in which is a great thing for a reader. I highly recommend this author."
