Reviews

Excellent!

"I thought this was such an amazing book. Daniel Handler is ingenious, creative, humorous and incorporates literature and philosophy flawlessly. The 'task and trials' that the Baudelaires must solve and overcome are unique and always have out of the box and ingenious solutions. The discussion on morality, 'becoming villains', 'the end justifies the means', 'the greater good', 'fighting fire with fire' was so well conducted and better than most adult and young adult book and this is a book targeted at young readers. The symbolism, alliteration, definitions it was all golden. Definitely recommend this series :)"

Great addition to the series

"This book was a great addition to the series, but it was not one of my favourite books of the series. I actually found this one to be a little more scary vs the others. It was still good and enjoyable - and a must read in the series."

EBWB (4/5)

Great for Teens
