Margaret shares her secrets and her spirituality in this iconic Judy Blume novel, beloved by millions.
Margaret Simon, almost twelve, likes long hair, tuna fish, the smell of rain, and things that are pink. She’s just moved from New York City to Farbook, New Jersey, and is anxious to fit in with her new friends—Nancy, Gretchen, and Janie. When they form a secret club to talk about private subjects like boys, bras, and getting their first periods, Margaret is happy to belong.
But none of them can believe Margaret doesn’t have religion, and that she isn’t going to the Y or the Jewish Community Center. What they don’t know is Margaret has her own very special relationship with God. She can talk to God about everything—family, friends, even Moose Freed, her secret crush.
Margaret is funny and real. As you read her story, you’ll know why this book has been the favorite of millions of readers. It’s as if Margaret is talking right to you, sharing her secrets with a friend.

Love this book!!!!
"This book by Judy Blume completely blown me away. It evolves around the story of Margaret slowly becoming a woman and how she finds herself and God through this experience. This book is definitely a five star and perfect for any girls that are going through this or just want to know about puberty. I would recommend this book to anybody over the age of nine. This book really helped me find myself and my relationship with God. This book is definitely one of my best reads."

Searching for an answer. . . . and Margaret finds it !!
"I read this Judy Blume book, to my 2 boys when they were younger. It is a wonderful story about a young girl struggling with a new home and school , new friends, and growing up in a new town. But Margaret has very caring , open minded parents, and an incredible Gramma, who keeps her on track !! I have also seen the film. . . and it follows the book quite closely, I thought. ! ( a great team of familiar actors ) I gave this book to a friend . . . she is a mother herself. . . she had not read the book , so I am waiting to hear her verdict. I know it will be a positive one. My boys have read several of Judy Blume's books. . . . and they thoroughly enjoyed all of them. . They actually shared their thoughts about the books with me !! I would definitely recommend this book."
