"This book gave me a look inside the mind of Cassandra who (I believe) is autistic. Her struggles to understand the world around her and fit into it makes me think of my own struggles to do just the same. With or without autism or any other conditions that make you different, the world can be a challenging place to understand, with its often-fickle inhabitants making things more confusing for some of us. Cassandra's narrative of how she understands her circumstances and her attempts to make things right makes me root for her. This book also made me realize that we are all different in some ways, and understanding others (empathy) is important in making this world a kinder and more loving place. Fun and informative read!"

The book incorporates numerous references to Greek mythology, reflecting Cassandra's deep interest in the subject. While this does slow down the pace, it adds a philosophical aspect to the story.
