Not bad

"This is a good read, about halfway through but it’s not making me want to get home fast to read it. I love the art work on the side of the pages . Beautiful"

Ashley (5/5)

Amazing

"Wow, what a book! It’s been awhile since I’ve read a young adult novel, but this one was definitely worth it – it was quite an emotional roller coaster of drama, action, and romance. The world that the author creates is, quite literally, magical. Her characters are well developed, with things to both love and hate. They also evolve, which I love. Sadly enough, the book is incredibly timely, with depictions of familiar power structures and oppressed people. One advantage to reading this now is that the second book is out and the third is due later this year, so I don’t have long to wait to see what happens next. Be warned there are some pretty vivid depictions of violence and torture."

Coreena (5/5)
