Great book for a new vegetarian.
"I gave this to a friend and she was impressed by the variety of recipes. They are not too complicated and the ingredients can be found in the average grocery store with an organic section for specialty items like vegan cheese."

"I love Sam Turnbull and have both of her books and follow her blog and instagram. I think Sam is an excellent vegan spokes-person; she is excited about food and very accessible, but sadly this book is a bit of a miss for me. Her first book: Fuss free vegan is fantastic and highly recommended. This book is not as good. I find the first section of mixes a bit of a let down. I would rather have full recipes than mixes to keep in the cupboard, and some of the mixes are simply a rehash of recipes done in book one (tofu scram, white and chocolate cake) or straight up non-recipes (hot chocolate, spice mixes). I find the recipes generally nowhere near as exciting as the first book : 5 popcorn seasonings, diy popcorn, oatmeal packets, trail mix, toast (!) etc. There are a couple of novel soups and salads, but the main dishes are not super inspiring. Overall I am sad to say that I was disappointed by this book; there just aren't many recipes that I am excited to make."
