Still love the hard copy

"An excellent teaching tool. I've always found the Oxford School Shakespeare versions to be teacher and student friendly. Indigo offers this at an affordable price."

Academic - Literary Analysis

"Bought for English 30-1. Helpful sinopsis of each act, description of characters, and context/paraphrasing along each scene."

Monica L. (5/5)

Profound

"I thought this play has the most profound analysis of human behaviour and feelings. Very interesting"

Jennifer (5/5)

Great

"Very well written and the plot was very good as all Shakespeare's works are. One of my absolute favourites."

Michelle (5/5)

Great version for educators!

"This version is good resource for students and teachers as there are footnotes, historical information, and other pertinent information provided."

Ally (4/5)

The most beautifully written tragedy

"This play is a haunting read but beautifully written."

Nancy (5/5)

amazing

"Watched the movie of Hamlet directed and starring Kenneth Branagh, then read the play. I recommend this to anyone trying to enjoy and understand Hamlet. The movie was amazing, and included every single line in the play, this lets you read as you watch. As we know, the play was meant to be watched, not read. It was a great combination and really helped me understand it and truly enjoy the language."

Grace (4/5)

I love Hamlet but this edition is meh

"It's nice that this edition has side notes and pictures to explain things. . but the explanations don't always make sense."

My Personal Favourite Shakespeare

"My favourite of Shakespeare's works. I had to read this in senior year in high school and I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now. With age and reflection I've come to realize what a great angsty teenage protagonist Hamlet is, and his melodramatic family is both hilarious and surprisingly relatable (ok sure, so your uncle probably didn't murder your father to get with your mother, but everyone's got some crazy relatives who do jaw dropping idiotic things). #plumreview"

Good

"pretty good story line, somewhat a slow read, as there are a lot of metaphors #plumreview"
