From Main Street USA, to Fantasyland, and beyond, I Love Disney’s Magic Kingdom explores every area of the park and is made for the true Disney fanatic—complete with surprising trivia, behind-the-scenes facts, fun quizzes, and so much more.
Whether you visit the Disney Parks many times throughout the year or simply love all things Disney, you know there’s always more to learn about the parks. Written by a former Disney cast member and diehard Disney fan herself, you’ll learn insider info on its most iconic attractions, rides, and foods, such as:
-Look down! When visiting Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on Main Street USA, you’ll find that Disney Imagineers recreated a special moment from Lady and the Tramp just outside of the restaurant—if you look closely, you can find Lady’s and Tramp’s paw prints!
-Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland might feel like it’s taking you on an out-of-control train ride—but did you know its max speed is only 36 miles per hour? Instead of intense drops, it uses tight turns, small dips, and lots of momentum to make you feel like you’re traveling faster than you really are.
-Love it or hate it, “it’s a small world” in Fantasyland has a big impact! When you make a wish with your spare change, that money is collected every time the ride is cleaned and is donated to local children’s charities.
This is the ultimate Magic Kingdom experience that would surprise even Walt himself.

Great guide to Disney
"I have seen Dapper Danielle on a number of Instagram reels with one of the people I follow, so the first thing that struck me about this book was that it was written (co-written) by her. Off I went to check out her Instagram and was still on the fence about following her. So, I went back to the book. While guide books of Disney are nothing new, and even guide books with fun facts are also on the market already - I have read a few of both - this book struck me because it was not overwhelming in the amount of information it profited. Kelly and Wilson really tried to walk you through the park in a way that made geographic sense and touched on all of the rides and attractions. But stye did it without getting too in the weeds. A light touch that presented each ride, places to eat, and places to shop with some interesting history or context but more a rationale for why you would want to go there. I was surprised by a few reveals - won't spoiler them here - about things that I did not notice and will have to track down the next time I'm at Magic Kingdom. I also sent my husband some information about a path that I had not walked only to be informed by him that we did actually go that route. My sense of direction and recall are not the best apparently. What I appreciated most about this book was its ability to guide and explain without getting prescriptive. If you want to go here to eat, here's what you'll find and what they are known for. If you want to skip it or skip the mean recommendation, not a big deal because here are other options on the way. The book also presents tips on, for example, when wait times are likely lowest, to trivia and lesser known facts. It was ultimately the lesser known facts that sold me on this book, because it gives you something to look up and maybe think about as you wander through the park. If you have never been to Magic Kingdom and are looking for something to help you get acclimated, this is a great book. If you have been or have picked up guide books before, this one is a solid recommendation and well worth thumbing through to find out things you may not have known. I still want to get a Hidden Mickey book as a bit of a quest, but I do think that this book has enough facts and info to let you start a different quest through the park that is equally rewarding. Kudos to The Dapper Danielle. After I finished this book, I followed her on Instagram."
