Promotional Details
These photographic puzzles celebrate seasons and holidays throughout the year. A January background of snow and evergreens is full of wrapped presents, nuts, a "bear sextet," and more. For Halloween, a ghostly dollhouse bathed in blue light conceals jack-o'-lantern flowerpots, a topiary rabbit, and a shadowy candelabra. Kids will enjoy the familiar game of finding the objects named in the brief text. While the photographs are not as brilliantly arranged as those in earlier books, eager puzzle solvers will gobble this one up, too.--School Library Journal, April 2002
