Beautiful!

"I bought the book after watching the movie (which I loved) I was in hysterical tears, and it's 100% better. Such a beautiful heartwarming story. A story to reflect heroes, and beautiful written. #employeereview"

Theresamunroe (5/5)

WOW!

"This book still stands out to me years after having first read it. What Marcus Luttrell endured was just unbelievable. There were many times when I had to remind myself that this was a real person recounting a true story. Just incredible. Oh, and don't waste your time on the movie - it was terrible."

Jilly (5/5)

Okay

"It was an okay read. The writing wasn't the best quality and the author would go for short tirades against liberals, etc. The author was the actual survivor of the mission. It was okay, and was good to know the actual story compared to the movie."

Emreader (3/5)

Gripping!!!

"Red this book years ago and still talk about it. . . Highly recomended. . . could not put it down"

Mike (5/5)

Awesome

"The movie was entertaining but as always they put things into the incident that never occurred. The book was 100 times better than the movie!!"

Will (5/5)

Always Read the Book

"Like most times the book is a million times better than the movie."

Teee (5/5)

Gotta read this!

"Awesome book. If you saw the movie, you should read this. Gives a whole new insight, and fills in the gaps in the movie."

Slinkaroo (5/5)

When it sticks to the point, it hits bullseye

"A moving recount of the mission in Afghanistan that claimed lives of group of Navy SEALs. Perfectly captures the camaraderie and bravery of these soldiers, as well as bravery and honor of the villagers who decided to give Marcus, the titular Lone Survivor, sanctuary despite Taliban attacks and pressure to hand him over. better than a very good movie that was still rather thin in some aspects that book covers in grater detail. I docked it a point for unnecessary po;liticla propaganda. As a Candian, I really don't care about which US political partty I should vote for."
