Reviews

Bee careful what you suspect.

"Interesting comparison thread woven through the comparison between bees and a mother. I felt at some points it didn’t read like Jodi but like someone trying to educate- it had a disruptive flow when it shifted to educating and I felt like her readers are insightful enough."

Shelley H. (5/5)

"Another amazing novel by Picoult! She draws similarities between a queen bee managing a hive and a mother whose son has been accused of murder."

Jodi Impresses Again

"Her books just keep getting better and more relevant as I age through life’s experiences myself! I must have like twenty Picoult novels and I’ve never been disappointed."

Hillary P. (5/5)

Not My Favourite

"The beginning of the story and the twists were good. It kind of lost me in the middle though with how deep it dove into a certain topic. I also understand that books show flashbacks and such, however this one went back and fourth too much in my opinion."

Steph A. (3/5)

Mad Honey is MAD GOOD!

"Mad Honey is a gripping and emotionally layered novel that blends family drama, courtroom suspense, and a powerful exploration of identity. The story follows Olivia, a beekeeper and single mother, whose world is upended when her son Asher is accused of killing his girlfriend, Lily. As the narrative shifts between Olivia's and Lily's perspectives, secrets slowly unravel—forcing readers to confront themes of love, truth, and the many ways we protect those we care about. The authors have crafted a compelling narrative with a surprising twist that challenges assumptions and offers thoughtful commentary on gender, trauma, and acceptance. The metaphor of beekeeping is beautifully woven throughout, adding richness and symbolism to the story."

Rebecca J. (4/5)
