No Sense of Fear

"A great read. Graphic at times. Very believable, yet at the same time, unbelievable. Jeremy's vivid memory of events helps put you in his shoes. He was attacked so viciously yet in spite of being so badly injured, continued to try and save himself, knowing that danger could be lurking nearby before he got the chance to be found. And, return to the wilderness he did, once Jeremy recovered. That takes an incredible amount of courage. Such an interesting read. I saw the book in a small gift shop in Alberta when we were visiting recently. I didn't buy the book at the time and the shop wasn't yet open, the next morning, before we left. I was glad to find the book in Indigo."

“Reading Mauled is a journey through the darkest of human experiences, from the edge of life to survival. I cringed with Jeremy as he endured the horrible trauma, and was buoyed by the uplifting spirit of his resilience as he works to rescue himself and restore the life he nearly lost. I was afraid for him, and inspired to see him get out, keep going and persevere.”—Alex Messenger, author of The Twenty-Ninth Day: Surviving a Grizzly Attack in the Canadian Tundra
