Out of The Shadows

"This is one of the best books I’ve read & I am an avid reader An important issue ,one that should concern all of us. Unbelievable how human/ sexual trafficking is happening so close to home & what seems so hard to eradicate. This has Canadian content . . which for me made it all the more interesting & concerning & troublesome. A great book club read . Looking forward to our upcoming discussion ."

Couldn't put it down

"This book was so heart wrenching, yet I couldn't put it down. A strong, courageous woman who fought through unbelievable circumstances. It sucked me in front the first page. I highly recommend this book"

Great story and well written

"I recently read Out of the Shadows and was immediately taken with this book and flew through it which I haven’t done in a long time. Timea Nagy is an unbelievably courageous woman and extremely brave for not only surviving her horrible ordeal, but she also had the guts to share it with us. I had read Through the Glass by Shannon Moroney and I loved it so I was eager to read Out of the Shadows and she did another great job in writing this book. This time it wasn’t her story but she clearly did a lot of research and was able to trigger many emotions – fear, sadness, anger, suspense, relief, and happiness with her style of writing. This truly is an amazing story and I definitely recommend picking up this book!"

Incredible story and well written book

"I truly loved this book. Once I started it, I could not put it down. I was so taken with Timea and her story. She is an incredible woman who demonstrates resilience in the most incredible ways. The book is non fiction and is an important education on human trafficking, but it reads like a page turner and was interesting right to the end. Loved it."

Cory (5/5)

Eye opener

"Incredible book, truly eye opening. This book is well written and I’m grateful her story has been shared to help educate. I grew up in the city during her time in Toronto and had no clue this was happening."
