"Sorry this is her last book -always a great beach read"

"So good i didnt want it to end. Elin never disappoints."

Swan Song a good way to leave Nantucket behind

"This is classic Elin Hilderbrand with a twist of intrigue. As usual, Nantucket is almost a character of the novel, it is so central to the storylines. It was fitting that the story largely chronicles the upcoming retirement of the Police Chief since this is her last novel of this type. The ending was the only part that left me wanting - it was a bit muddled and unclear. Still if you like a good beach read, this one is worth it!"

Cindy (5/5)

The authors last book in her Nantucket collection

"Elin Hildebrand is one of my favourite authors and this is her final “Nantucket” before she goes on to other writing. She incorporates some characters from other books so it is like visiting old friends."

Nancy M. (5/5)

A Great Farewell

"Always a fan of Elin Hilderbrand, I found her last 2 books a little tired, but what a comeback with Swan Song. All of your favourite characters caught up in intrigue with a glittering mystery couple. No one is immune, even Chief Kampanaugh and wife until, of course something goes terribly awry."

Wanda (5/5)

Another captivating summer read by Elin Hilderbrand

"If you already like Elin Hilderband's novels, don't hesitate to pick this one up. If you're not familiar, it is the perfect beach day read complete with romance, mystery, current and relavant pop culture references against the backdrop of picturesque descriptions of Nantucket. It will give you a summer escape without leaving your seat."

A Swan song indeed

"Elin Hilderbrand’s Nantucket stories leads to a tale that comes to an end with ‘Swan Song’. A fitting and satisfying close to a wonderful series."

Disappointing for Hilderbrand fans

"I have read all of her books and this one was such a disappointment. My impression of it was that she had so many characters in it that I couldn’t keep them straight and also she didn’t give me enough about any of them to care about them. They were all just more like caricatures than characters, and they all seem a bit silly - with silly nicknames and no depth. Did she write this book as a comedy, albeit slapstick? Not sure of her intent but that is how it read to me and just a corny one at that. I got no sense of Nantucket from it at all and it is definitely missing what her others had."

Goodbye to Nantucket

"I love Elin's Nantucket Series and this was a great send-off."

JAYEM (5/5)

What a great Swan Song for author Elin Hildebrand

"Elin Hildebrand did not disappoint with her final novel. Interesting story with the familiar characters on Nantucket plus newcomers the Richardsons. Reminds us not to be impressed with flashy new money and lifestyle. It is looks too good to be true it probably is. Sad that the author is retiring. Will miss these interesting characters."
