Hilarious beginning for Herge's masterpiece

"A hilarious romp and fitting start to the series with Tintin seeming to be only about thirteen at most as his feet can't reach the floor of the railway carriage while he's in the seat. His interactions with Snowy are more direct than in any other adventure showing that he understands what the dog is saying to him, at least in this comic. The art is very early and a bit simple at the start but gradually evolves into the Tintin look of later adventures. A good starting point for a true fan of the Belgian Boy reporter."
