Praise for The Dead Come to Stay

“It feels like a particularly tense time to be autistic in the United States, so it’s a little counterintuitive to say a cozy mystery set in the United Kingdom captures the zeitgeist for neuroatypical people. And yet that’s exactly what Brandy Schillace has done with The Dead Come to Stay.” The Washington Post

“A whopper likely to fool readers for as long as it fools the endearing detectives… a superior puzzle.” Kirkus

“Engaging and full of twists, with a neurodivergent heroine who is both charismatic and relatable.” –Booklist

“Schillace’s characters remain a pleasure to spend time with.”Publishers Weekly

Praise for The Framed Women of Ardemore House

"The book is more than just a mystery: It’s an autistic woman’s journey of self-discovery." –THE WASHINGTON POST

"A delight.”–THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

"A thoughtful mystery that does justice to generations of women who see life differently." –THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR

"Brandy Schillace’s cozy murder mystery is supplemented with equally fun characters." –HUFFPOST

“Twisty, engaging, and thoroughly unexpected... a must-read for any mystery lover. Featuring a unique cast of characters and a village full of dirty little secrets, this book delivers a fresh take on the English cozy.”
– DEANNA RAYBOURN, New York Times bestselling author of KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE

“Intricately plotted and thematically rich, with characters I grew to really care about. I’ll be recommending it to every mystery reader I know.”
–ALEX GRECIAN, New York Times bestselling author of THE YARD

"A New York editor on the spectrum clashing with a dogged British detective. Makes a mystery like an English garden: wild, masterly crafted and full of secrets, beauty and marvels.“
--MARIO GIORDANO, author of The Auntie Poldi Adventure series

Mystery/History/Murder/Wordplay/Neurodivergent

"Loved this book! Brandy did it again! Your favourite characters from the first book return, and more mystery/history/murder/wordplay/neurodivergent amazingness happens. This is officially my favourite mystery set ever, and I am praying for book 3."

Kathleeny (5/5)

Wonderful mystery that will keep you guessing!

"Amazing story, on its own but especially if following the Framed Women of Ardemore House. Every character is different and amazingly written. Schillace's knowledge and humour shines. It is VERY disappointing that Indigo does not carry this in stores, after carrying and showing the first book off last year. How can we trust Indigo to show us when sequels come out?"

MysteryKat (5/5)

Why was it not in stores? It's amazing!

"The first book came up on a must read list for me and it was so easy to find it in the stores but the second book was like finding a needle in a hay stack. I just happened to be passing an Indigo downtown and thought to go in and check, and only then was I told it was online only! There was no announcement made or anything. Please stock it in stores as it would make an amazing Christmas present for friends!"

Christy u. (5/5)

Loved it.

"In love with the neurodivergent leads and the unexpected mystery storyline. I was laughing and angry and puzzled, and sometimes all at once! Why is this book not in the stores?! We only found out when a friend told us it was released! We had discovered the first once in store last year, with the bright orange cover."

MonkeyontheOrgan1 (5/5)

Definitely looked forward to

"Definitely looked forward to this book after the first one! It was hard to find though, as it’s online only. Please stock in stores for more people to discover!"

"The first book was easy to find, this one? No. Why?"
