An incredibly interesting book on death

"A book that is extremely thought-provoking. I'd recommend it to anyone that ever pondered about death and its role in our lives. To me, the book literally changed my out view on life. The only thing I’d caution is for people to take Becker’s writings with a grain of salt as they are more based on philosophy and psychoanalysis rather than any empirical science."

After receiving a PhD in cultural anthropology from Syracuse University, Dr. Ernest Becker (1924–1974) taught at the University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco State College, and Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Marie, and a foundation that bears his name—The Ernest Becker Foundation.
