Can't Trust Carlos Martins Fully

"The book comes form a Catholic viewpoint. Carlos states that contraception is a sin for example. Not true. He also states that demons can be contagious via sex as in the final case study with Christopher and Lisa. In his book "The Rite" by Matt Baglio living with someone who is demon possessed does not lead to the person getting transference of the entity. Now maybe Lisa might have done something to Christopher, but normally transferring possession would not happen according to other exorcists. I have listened to Carlos' podcast about Saint Maria Goretti. Once he put her bones on the tour in the USA. He claims that three exorcists told him that different exorcisms with demons told them to tell him personally that they are not afraid of the girl in the box. I am skeptical. Is that Serenelli (Maria's killer) part about using his cards on demon possessed individuals in the "Heavenly Backup" even true? If not someone who might look at this might get wrong information for something that might not even work. That being said it was a beautiful story of forgiveness by Maria to forgive her killer Serenelli. The chapter "The Witch Girlfriend" (the podcast name is "A Touch of Honey" on Youtube) is most certainly highly embellished or was made up 100%. The Book of Revelation was used. Trent rests outside Seattle for 20 minutes, takes the same time to rest after 7 sessions with Evelyn and does not get rest for over "five hours". Revelation 20 verse 5 lists the fate of evildoers who will end up in the Lake of Fire thus showing that Trent is in danger. He gets saved by the Two Witnesses (frisbee throwers) and has a demon possessed horse come after him (Horseman of the Apocalypse. The numbers 6-8 represent the chapters of Revelation. Trent was in 8 grade when he last practised his faith, he stays at the college for 8 days, etc. Trent is 34 years of age when he meets Evelyn. 4+3=7. Turns 35 (3+5=8). Evelyn is 31 years of age (3+1=4). The 4th letter (pertaining to the 4th Seal I think the story writers know this interpretation to be true) of Rev mentions Jezebel. Carlos is likely winking at the end of the story when he does not explain how he knows that Evelyn destroyed the lives of 7 (Revelation 7 when God allows testing) truckers before Trent the eight (Revelation chapter 8 when God releases his wrath) truckers who gets saved. And Carlos even calls Evelyn a "Jezebel" at the end of the story. Another wink that the story is 100% fabricated? I could go on. I give glory to God for revealing this to me and do not take credit for anything. It's possible there might be a core story in the last one as Carlos and his team claim, but it would be highly embellished. Then again he and his team made it all up. In the same podcast "A Touch of Honey" based on the story Carlos claimed that someone tried to use a cursed frog on him in his seminary days. God let him see the curse being prepared in real time. Then in his book he claims in his seminary days a deadly curse was put on his friend Benedict. Again I am skeptical. Two supernatural events in his seminary days? Carlos is a legitimate exorcist although only of the side. It is not his full job. Should he be embellishing his case files or possibly making it all up? A podcast might be one thing for embellishment (although he shouldn't lie about things 100 % on purpose if he has done that), but a book? Even embellishment gives the wrong information to the reader. The reviews given his book from priests come from the fact that he is well connected in a top enough position at the Vatican. Just be discerning if you buy it. I might give it a 3. 5. There is some solid information."

Excellent!

"An excellent book that teaches many Truths of the Faith. It will make you more aware of the dangers of our secular society, and, if you allow it, bring you closer to God."
