A Fun, Creative Celebration Uniquely Canadian

"Zoey is a well-travelled young girl who loves poutine, especially the kind her dad makes, and especially on their shared birthday with Canada, July 1st. I love how the story features Zoey’s memories of unique Canadian locations, foods, and cultures with each different poutine for Zoey to taste and judge. Now I really must try Prince Edward Island lobster poutine! A fun, creative celebration of a recipe invented in Quebec, variations from across Canada, and loving connections within an extended family. Highly recommended!"

Fun Read and Very Canadian

"I saw this book and right away thought of my Daughter-In-Law who loves Poutine. I bought it to give to her and my Granddaughter for Canada Day 2024. As I wrote in the Review Title the book is a fun read and very Canadian. After reading this book maybe I will learn to love Poutine or maybe I will not:)???"

A beautiful story about cheese curds, gravy, family

"It's time to celebrate and Zoey's birthday is made perfect with the visiting of family, a surprise poutine contest and fireworks as it's Canada Day, too! A sweet story of ooey gooey goodness, diversity and heart. Complete with some history about the dish itself along with a recipe, this celebrates how memories can be savoured with each bite!"
