I would not get this; trying to finish the series

"Absolutely disappointed! My favourite series is not my favourite so much anymore. Everything feels forced by the author, and I’m upset with how far away we actually moved from the plot. I know nothing lasts forever, but I’m disappointed to even still be calling this a part of The Inheritance Games. Barnes has directed the plot so far away. I’m upset with all the new characters, and that the original characters don’t have any more parts to play anymore. In this novel, all the new characters play a game hosted by Avery and the other originals (Avery is just wasting all her money at this point, and the plot is basically gone now as everything is gone). The game is basically pointless, and everything seems forced. I’m sick of the series, and I’m just hoping Barnes is almost done and will give this up. This series and Barnes feel like a child who won’t let go of their toy. The plots are forced now, as well as repetitive and bore me out very fast. I do not recommend this book, unless you are going to attempting the series like me or you admire the new characters and fast-paced, boring, forced plots. Otherwise, don’t get it. It’s expensive as there are little paperback options in stores for this book, and it’s honestly very bad. Don’t recommend unless you need to get it."

The grandest game - a new favourite book!

"The book was in great condition when I bought it, and the actual book was amazing! I hadn’t read the series in a few months and the book felt like it started right where the last book left off which was super nice."
