Beautiful book

"Beautiful book- excellent companion to original series"

Emma (5/5)

Beautiful!

"The illustrations are magical with captivating tales to go along with each one!"

Bobby (5/5)

Illustrations are just wow!

"I am so happy that this author of the month is Leigh Bardugo - I've dreamt to reread all Grisha saga and have it in physical copies!"

Helga (5/5)

Beautiful book, strange dust jacket

"I put off buying this book for the longest time because of the cover- half blue half red just seemed like a strange design choice. I'm happy to report, however, that it's only half a dust jacket for marketing purposes (I suppose) and the book underneath is gorgeous. The illustrations are very Renaissance and its a great companion to the grishaverse."

Ana S. (5/5)

I reccomend the lives of saints to anyone!!

"Was a vary interesting read and you know a book is good if it’s in just one sitting (also depends on book size as well) I enjoyed this very much and as a big fan of Leigh’s grishaverse from shadow and bone to six of crows to now king of scars. It was an interesting experience to learn even more about the world and it’s lands."

Break P. (5/5)

Beautiful book

"Perfect companion to the grishaverse world. The art work was amazing and the stories were well written!"

Ange (4/5)

Great book

"The Lives of Saints is a collection of short stories from the Grishaverse. Each story tells the origin story of a saint in that series. This book was actually mentioned in the Grishaverse books, so it was like reading a book that the characters have read too. This audiobook was short at just over two hours long. The narrators were great. There were two narrators that alternated between chapters. The male narrator was Ben Barnes, who is one of the stars of the upcoming Shadow and Bone show. This is a great way to connect this new book to the upcoming show. I’d love to see a physical copy of this book one day because it is supposed to have beautiful illustrations. I highly recommend this audiobook! Thank you Macmillan Audio for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review."

Beautiful Fairy Tales

"I’m so grateful for this second edition of Grisha fairy tales! I absolutely LOVED The Language of Thorns and completely devoured this telling of saints from Bardugo’s incredible universe. This is definitely one of the most physically beautiful books I own. Every page has been carefully crafted and designed to mimic a storybook I would have read growing up. The art is stunning. There are many stories for the saints, including some familiar faces, and they each carry warnings and themes that remain relevant. Some are dark, some are clever, some are inspiring, and all are beautifully woven in Bardugo’s lyrical style. This is a short read and a must have for all fans of the Grishaverse. It was clearly made with love and is not to be passed by!"
