Space travel adventure

"Great crew on this spaceship and a feel good story. Becky Chambers has several others linked in this series."

Mary L. (5/5)

Very enjoyable character-based story

"I've never read anything like it! Most sci-fi books make me anxious but Chambers really balances out the horrors of the universe with beautiful character relationships. Would recommend to anyone looking to rediscover our own world and history through a universe that seems so strange, yet tenderly familiar."

Eugene (5/5)

Loved this

"Absolutely loved this book, a fun quirky adventure with amazing characters and story, queer representation and adventure!"

Abigail W. (5/5)

One of the best novels I've read!

"One of the best novels I've read in a long time! The world Chambers builds is so vivid and comes to life with so much heart, offering a refreshing picture of a future built on hope whilst offering up all the simple pleasures of well written science fiction. I got happily lost amid the characters and their universe and am very much looking forward to picking up the next book. I've recommended it to several friends already and know it will rank up there with some of my all time favourite books."

Heather M. (5/5)

10/10 wonderful read

"This book and the rest of the series were magnificent. I love a story that explores what it means to be human. Each one struck a cord with me, emotionally. The writing, the dialogue, and the themes were amazing to experience."
