Reviews

Love Love Love

"After reading the stolen heir I was very anxious for this book and it did not disappoint. The forbidden love trope as well as going into a force’s marriage was awesome, and I loved the stakes. Definitely recommend."

Booklover (4/5)

Elegant, dramatic and one you're done with the book you'll realize that the throne was the prison.

"So I just finished The Prisoner’s Throne and—no because WHY did Holly Black make me feel bad for a character who would 1000% throw me under the bus for political gain? Oak? Sir, you are NOT okay. Suren? Girlboss. Feral. Would bite a man’s throat and I’d thank her. The tension?? The betrayal?? The slow burn that nearly burnt ME alive?? 10/10 recommend but please bring snacks and emotional support. This is not a drill."

Flavia (5/5)

FANTASTIC FANTASY

"A riveting story with all kinds of twists and turns."

Brenda (5/5)

Another Win In Elfhame

"Holly Black is an amazing writer with an unmatched skill in creating uniquely odd and riveting stories within the same world about unyieldingly different character! Jude and Cardan where amazing, and Oak and Wren are no different! Absolutely love it♥️"

Catherinnnnnn (5/5)

Wren my love

"I loved this book so much, Wren’s story is very interesting and it’s so nice to have another strong female character with dept to her story! Everything tied up very well together and it was nice to have another glimpse at Jude & Cardan and everyone else in the family."

Eden (5/5)

Second Best.

"This is the second in this series. Follows where the previous book left off. Very satisfying read."

Ashley (4/5)

boring

"didn’t even finish it, i’m sorry i couldn’t get into it"

Schap (2/5)

Solid series ending

"Easy to follow story and writing, closes out the series really well. Could have had better ending structure, but overall well done."

Aims (4/5)

Amazing read

"The book is so pretty and such good quality and the story was amazing. I’m about halfway done, and I’m so exited to get to the rest of it."

Emma (4/5)

Interesting Ending

"This book is a good read and good conclusion to Oak and Wren’s story, but the ending was a tad too simple for my personal tastes and in comparison other Holly Black stories"
