Not continuing the series

"Was the plot in the room with us? After having mixed feelings over book 2 and having zero good opinions over book 3, even after it’s boring cliffhanger, I will not be finishing this series."

Wow!!!

"Third book and none of them disappointed. Loved this book for the different POV’s of characters that were more secondary in the first two books. It shows the growth and depth of these characters and didn’t want it to end. The world is upside down and so much has gone on, I can’t wait till the 4th book."

Emotionally destroyed

"[Employee of indigo-ca] Omg!!! I’m shook to my core! So many emotions and devastating consequences! Blake! They could never make me hate you! I love him so much!"

Love Love Love

"Since finding the books of Bloodwing Academy I have been obsessed. Also I love the fact that she's Canadian! The dedication that she's put at the beginning of the book is accurate: Please don't throw your kindles too hard. I am speechless. I am shook. I am emotionally unwell. ""I'm yours, Pendragon. Every brutal, broken piece. If you want me. "" I finished reading On Wings of Blood and The Bond That Burns in early 2025 when she was still indie and have been eagerly awaiting book three since then. This is a series that many people have been sitting on and I am mad that more people I know haven't read it. Seriously- RUN, don't walk! I cannot stop recommending this series to everyone I know. If I can recommend one thing: reread the series in its entirety before diving into this one. It had been so long since I immersed myself in the world of Bloodwing and it was an appreciated refresher. I am obsessed with how immersive, powerful and emotionally powered her writing is. The fact that she is able to weave the different threads of the novel together to deliver what we have is indescribable. The world building, the different character arcs, and the emotional upheaval is just *chef's kiss*. This book shocked me with some of the POVs we got but it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to deliver the story that we needed. It delivers on everything that Briar has been building up in the previous books. The last like 30% of the book had me sitting on the edge of my seat fully and emotionally WRECKED. I was close to throwing my phone as was said in the dedication (but I held off my the thinnest of threads). I'm screaming, crying, throwing up waiting for book 4. Kudos to Briar for delivering such a book!"

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

"I have been waiting for this beautiful book for a long time after reading OWOB and TBTB back in December 2024. Briar hooks me every time and TWTB are not short of that. I will start by saying I am very glad I decided to read Briar's Blood of a Fae series while waiting for TWTB. Briar recommends, though not mandatory, to read BoaF first before Bloodwing Academy and this is because the reader gets a bit of the back story for Medra and how she came to be. As well, some of the family members/found family are mentioned throughout Bloodwing Academy. The Wings That Bind was everything I need and of course left with wanting more. The cliffhanger, Briar warns us, almost had me throwing my kindle, but no kindle was harmed. I had so many moments throughout this book that had me screaming, crying, and questioning what was going to happen next. I still have SO MANY QUESTIONS for Briar and I don’t know how she’s going to conclude the fourth and final book. One of my fav quotes: “Besides, I know the difference. ”
“Difference?” “Between a monster and the one wearing its chains. ”"

Easy 5 Star Read

"⭐️5 Man, oh man — this book did not disappoint. One of the biggest standouts for me was the character growth. Not just with the main characters, but the side characters too. Watching everyone evolve added so much depth to the story. I also loved that we got multiple POVs — it was such a great way to explore the other characters and really understand their motivations. I absolutely LOVED the romance in this one. I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say… this might be my favourite book in the series. 👀 There were several moments that genuinely shocked me and left me a little heartbroken (in the best way). The emotional impact was so strong, and I felt everything right alongside the characters. I was lucky enough to receive an ALC, and the audiobook was incredible. The narrators did such an amazing job bringing the characters to life and adding even more emotion to an already powerful story. Overall, I adored this book — honestly, I love this entire series. Briar’s writing continues to impress me, and she truly outdid herself with this one. I cannot wait for book four!! Thank you SO much to @Briar Boleyn and Podium Entertainment for the ALC. 💗"
