I'm obsessed!!

"The Wolf and the Crown of Blood is a story I could break down bit by bit, but I almost don’t want to. No words could ever fully capture how this book hit me. I felt everything, the searing, blinding anger that tore through the pages and left nothing untouched. Every scratch, scar, and wound. And damn, it was intoxicating. There are so many layers to this story, but revenge is the most prominent. Bryony is his to claim, and he wants his pound of flesh. But what starts as a game soon becomes something obsessive and possessive in ways he does not fully understand. He convinces himself she is just a game, just amusement, just prey he can destroy in the end. What he finds instead is an infuriating, strong, curious woman who shows him he is more than just a monster. She burrows under his skin, slips into the hollow corners of his heart, and slowly, almost imperceptibly, breathes life into it. The wrath, and pain are still there, but now tempered by something he never expected to feel. Humanity, longing, want. Until he realizes she has become undeniable. She is the reason his heart beats, and he has no choice but to claim her for his own. Bryony’s life has never been her own. She has been bled, sacrificed, and broken for the sake of others. When someone tries to take what little she has left, she finally has enough. She allows her rage to erupt, and now that the fire has been lit, damn if I did not enjoy watching her burn. Beneath all the fury, she is complex, flawed, and deeply compassionate. When she is given a chance for revenge, she takes it. We watch her evolve into something fierce and resilient, fighting not only her own demons but very real and dangerous ones. Together, they are vicious. Their love is violent and visceral, built on equal parts hate and desire, push and pull, destruction and rebuilding. They carve themselves into one another’s very essence. My heart beat so hard for these characters that I felt completely outside of myself while reading. This book was utterly captivating, hitting me with a raw, primal intensity. I was fully immersed, my heart beating alongside the characters, and loving every second of it!"
