Beautiful Story

"This book was so lovely. I love Ryan and Fabian's characters so much. Being from Nova Scotia it was so great to be able to connect to that and see Halifax mentioned so much. Ryan's hometown also reminded me of the small village I grew up in. I also connected with the mental health/medication representation. I really appreciate how Rachel wrote about it and did it so well. It's so important to bring awareness of it. I'm sure I'll be thinking about this story long after reading it. ❤️"

Not so tough

"Tough Guy is the third book in the Game Changers series, and this one hit differently. It was tough to get through at times because of the heavy focus on mental health, depression, and self-worth. Ryan completely stole my heart—I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything would be okay. Rachel Reid has a way of writing characters with what some might call """"broken pieces,"""" but she does it with such care that you see their strength through the pain. You want them to heal, not just for their love interest but for themselves. This is a MM hockey romance with 2🌶️ and a 3⭐ rating from me. I enjoyed seeing past characters make an appearance, and that unexpected walk-in on our favorite rivalry couple? Perfection! Can’t wait to continue the series!"
