A series worth your time and money.

"After reading a few series of books that no longer lived up to my ""book expectations"", following finishing the the Harry Potter series by J. K Rowling, I was extremely apprehensive about starting this series as I was concerned that the set would be the same case. However, the books in this series pleasantly surprised me, with the plot and characters evolving beyond my exceptions. The plot goes beyond focus of romance between characters and includes aspects of friendship, personal growth, etc. . . which was not expected on my half, as I originally thought these books would be every similar to the Twilight Saga, were a lot of the focus of the books is the development of romance; although understandable as it is a fantasy romance series after all."

Yes Vampire Academy

"I finshed the series a while ago. The first three books were a warm up and then the rest of the books were great. You have to give these books a chance and please ignore the covers and the titles because the books are kickass. In the beginning Rose annoyed me with her attitude but, she ended up growing on me. I think my favourite part of the series was the character development for everyone in the books, so good. Finally, I recommend reading the companion series ""Bloodlines"" by Richelle Mead with Sydney as our protagonist."
