Peak

"This book, as old as it is, still has some stuff from modern days, and that's why I love it so much"

Sharing Dystopia

"Loved sharing this book with my husband for the first time recently. It was like getting to read it all over again. It’s eerie that it still feels so current and such a poignant commentary on life at the moment, especially regarding censorship."

1984 by George Orwell

"Last time I read this book was in high school. Such a classic and I can't wait to read it again."

Keep coming back to this book

"A story about the dangers of totalitarianism, the power of disinformation, surveillance and control. A dystopian classic that is still extremely relevant today. #IndigoEmployee"

Banned Book Love

"Chilling to read knowing what's going on in the world in 2025."

1984 review

"Such an influential part of fiction, im glad to have been required to pick this up for university."

Rownin L. (5/5)

Hard to believe that this was written earlier in time.

"I heard about this book. It is a bit far fetched but actually it is not. The story line is decent. Half of the underlying content is quite accurate with today's world."

Steven (4/5)

Double Plus Good

"This book should be required reading material in this day and age. Really makes you think. It's scary how we keep inching closer and closer to this type of reality. Prime example of what we don't want happening to society."

Meghan (5/5)

Good Stroyline

"It was very interesting learning about propaganda that takes within this storybook."
