Reviews

Romance, Magic, and a Stunning New World

"A lush, addictive fantasy romance that starts as a “Beauty and the Beast” retelling and quickly becomes darker, twistier, and far more emotional than expected. Beautiful world-building, strong heroine, high-stakes plot and it only gets better from here."

Laura (5/5)

Enjoyable read and will get next book- some overuse of words, which makes you cringe, and seemingly a bit AI written…or feels as such. But overall, keeps you enthralled.

"It was good to keep you flipping pages but found was a bit shallow from other “very deep” fantasy novels. Definitely written for a quick intrigue, with a lot of ideas pulled from other fantasy nostalgia. Enjoyable though, and interested in next book."

Kort M. (4/5)

A Court of ""I want to buy the whole series now""

"What an amazing book this was, I am now a romantasy lover all because of this book. The story is rich with whimsical themes and a handful of darkness too that left me wanting to know just what happens next! Feyre is such a brave and curious character, diving into her story has been an exciting journey so far!"

Olivia (5/5)

Fantasy Made For All

"Amazing! I am not typically into fantasy books but I honestly couldn't put this book down. Definitely worth all the hybe it's getting!!"

Easy Read, and a Fun Time!

"I really enjoyed this book, especially as someone who would not consider themselves an avid reader by any means. I think this book is a nice gateway to the romantasy genre! I really enjoyed the characters, and found the world to be interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the series progresses."

Redheaded R. (4/5)

Must read! Worth the hype

"This is the first book that will hook you into reading the rest of this series. If you're looking for spice keep reading! The Court of Thorns and Roses is just getting started with the main character Feyre as she is taken by a Fae creature into their lands hoping to escape and return home to care for her family she finds herself learning and challenging herself to help the fae people from a sinister fae queen."

First Fantasy Read: LOVE!

"I've been wanting to dive into the world of fantasy for some time now and I'm so glad I started with the ACOTR series. The first book in the series was so good, it had me hooked from the first few chapters. I find it difficult to like all of the characters in a book, but this one managed to have me developing connections with each character throughout the story. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in this series!"

Emma F. (5/5)

ACOTAR is taking over my life

"Amazing book, I have not been into a series like this in a while! It has everything you could want in a book, great writing, a story filled with action, romance, worry, happiness and it’s spicy too. Wonderful characters you fall inlove with, strong female lead and I couldn’t put it down."

Thomas (5/5)

Great story!

"A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is a romantic fantasy inspired by Beauty and the Beast. It follows Feyre, a mortal who’s drawn into the dangerous fae world after killing a faerie wolf. With rich world-building, passionate romance, and high stakes, it’s an addictive read—though a bit slow at first. #indigoemployee"
