Intro to fantasy romance

"This series makes for a great introduction to fantasy romance. The stories are complex, but laid out so strategically and eloquently that they are easy enough to follow. Fun read!"

Voice Acting sold me on this romantasy book 📕 series

"I started backwards with a bookstagram request to voice stories, mostly in the romantasy genre. I really enjoyed how the women were empowered. Each female character is fleshed out and fighting for dignity, truth, justice and survival. A Scottish Indigo salesperson from Burlington Centre Mall, passionate about what has been coined the Massuniverse, insisted I start with a Crown of Thorns and Roses 🌹which drew me in to an unfamiliar world. I’m on my third in the series, A Court of Wings and Ruin. The voiceover stories motivated me so much that I just needed to know more. You can call it research. I call it delving into unexpected territory that just keeps unfolding fascination. Their words hit home for me as I too fleshed them out, into book trailers, and the wisdom and reflection have me following and looking forward to each and every chapter. Lots of twists and turns! I know they say the first one is world building and slow. I say, it’s the beginning that ultimately has you rooting for Feyre followed by other unexpected heroines. Even a beautiful lotus 🪷 rises out from mud. You have to know what sparked it all. Simply begin! Don’t be daunted by the amount of pages. It goes by so fast!"

All the Feels I Wasn’t Ready For. .

"Okay so I just finished A Court of Wings and Ruin and I’m honestly still reeling. I went in expecting battles and drama, but Sarah Maas knows how to make every moment feel huge. Feyre completely owns her power here and seeing her fight for the people she loves made me want to cheer and cry at the same time. The romance? Still fiery, still full of that tension that makes you hold your breath. It’s not wall-to-wall spice, but when those moments happen, they hit just right. . . intense, emotional, and worth the slow burn. And can we talk about Rhysand??? My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)"

SHAWN (5/5)

Great Read

"My second favorite book in the series. This book is where everything comes together and the plots are really interesting. From Freya's act in the spring court to the war and everything in between."
