Love this author

"Louise Penny had me hooked from the very first novel in this series! This novel in the series introduces us to a new character by the name of Amelia Choquet. She is pierced, tattooed, and angry and streetwise. While initially declined entrance into the Academy, Gamache admits her. It is not until the end of the novel that the connection between Gamache and Amelia is revealed which allows Gamache to put something long held to rest. Some of Gamache's choices in this novel may seem out of character; however, if one flies higher to see the bigger picture, a greater understanding is gained."

Superb

"This is by far the best book in the series. I could not wait to find out what happens next. It amazes me that after reading twelve Louise Penny’s books, I am still interested in her stories and I can hardly wait for the next one."
