Harry Kresky is one of the country's foremost legal authorities on political reform and the concerns of independent voters, candidates, and parties. Formerly from New York City, he moved upstate to a house in rural Washington County with his political activist/photographer wife Cathy Stewart and their friends and colleagues Gail Peck and Nancy Ross. A poetry lover since childhood, Kresky found the setting of their new home an inspiration to write about the river, the "art" of fishing, the heartbreaking state of the world, and the importance of giving and nurturing love. His poetry blog can be found at https://poemsforfriends.blog/.
