Reviews

Great Series!

"My 9 yr old son is reading the whole series! He absolutely loves them. This series has really made him love reading!"

Christina (5/5)

Unfortunately wonderfully.

"My son really enjoys these books and the show. He has the whole series"

Jworks (5/5)

Worth completing, even as an adult!

"Each book from the series is a fantastic winding trajectory through the lives of the Baudelaire children. This book, is as described, the Penultimate Peril. I imagine you'd only consider reading it had you read the previous eleven books, if not, such would be my advice. There is villainy, and little triumphs, and reflection, and sadness, and kindness, all wrapped up in this wondrous literary cocktail - to say nothing of the persistent allusions to other great works and such. Enjoy!"

Gabi (5/5)

Love it!

"I love this series so much! This book was everything I hoped it would be"

Dustin (5/5)

A delight of a novel.

"The tension keeps building as we get closer to the conclusion of this wonderfully written series. It's a perfect blend of mystery and word games."

Zoelle (5/5)

Love this series!!

"Another great story in the series. It is surprising how the cover art brings back so many memories!"

RedPanda (4/5)

One Clear Character Setting

"Although there were some issues with certain descriptions, once again, I can state that Mr. Lemony Snicket's unique and clever prose never ceases to amaze me. Though, what I enjoyed the most about “The Penultimate Peril” is how well the author joined former characters from earlier books into one clear setting and consequently, made the reader reflect on the story's twisted corollary. That being said, I have high hopes for Book Twelve."

FutureHearts (4/5)

One of the best!

"Really keeps you hooked and wanting to know how this series ends!"

Shivanie (5/5)

All-time personal favourite series!

"These books are so great. The story goes into even more depth as the series is begins its conclusion and it pulls you right into the book. As a kid, I was definitely drawn into the eerie yet thrilling world Snicket creates."

Anna (5/5)

i love this book

"good book read if you like books"
