Has a bit of everything
"First watched the anime in August of 2020. Read all the chapters online in October 2020. And bought volumes 13-15 in December 2020. Since then I've acquired all 15 volumes, all 10 volumes of Akame ga Kill: ZERO, which is the prequel. All 5 volumes that are currently out for Hinowa ga Crush, which is the sequel. I love this series so much that I wish more people would get into it. Now to the actual review: Akame, just like in the anime, has plot armour. But she's still cute when she stuffs her face with food. Especially meat. It's nice to see stuff that wasn't shown in the anime, such as more gruesome scenes as well as scenes in between episodes. Just like the anime, I always get chills when seeing Tatsumi yell out Incursio and seeing Incursio burst out of the ground arms folded. Incursio is my favorite Imperial Arms/Teigu btw. Esdeath is also a lot stronger in the manga, especially during and after volume 9. . . whew. Everything is the same in the anime as it was in the manga up until the end of volume 7. Episode 18 is the start of the anime ending and would be volume 8 but with significant changes. I have a lot more I want to say but I believe my review is too long already.
