baby lit does it again

"i am a big fan of all baby lit books! i love how my littles ones can get a little introduction to my favourite classics! #plumreview"

Jenny (5/5)

Okay

"Keep in mind this is a primer, and not a children's version of the book. Although it is lacking."

KellyEnright (3/5)

Not Enough from the Original

"Would have loved if this included scenes from the original book like Anne's quest for puffed sleeves or Gilbert dipping her hair in ink. A cute idea but disappointed overall."

Angie (2/5)

awful

"I read this to a little girl. She said, ' Where is Anne's face? ' ' Where is Diana? ' ' Where is the big green house? ' . . . . . . . . . . . . ."

Lucillia (1/5)

dreadful

"Quite terrible. It's practically empty. There are no pictures of Anne! Apart from the cover. . . . This is not a book for a kindred spirit. Returning the book."

Lucillia (1/5)

Very disappointed!

"Terrible book. I was so excited to see Anne board books for little ones. Of course I grew up reading and watching Anne. My favourite still. Bought this board book for my 2 and 4 year old for Christmas. . . (next week). . . and i just recieved it and looked through it and there isn't a whole lot from the movies or books in it. There are two pages that are about haunting and one has a picture of white ghosts floating around in the forest. Such a silly thing for this author to zone in on when there are so many happy things she could have written about. How about Anne eating ice cream for the first time, or walking to school, or the jersey cow getting out?!! Or Marila sewing her a dress. I think I'll write my own Anne book for my girls, I won't be reading this one about ghosts to them at bedtime or anytime. Book will be returned promptly. Very disappointed."

Heather (1/5)

I loved this!

"Great series to start reading to babies/toddlers and kids."
