Reviews

Enjoyable and Relatable (as always)

"A solid romance: relatable characters and a romantic connection that keeps me turning the page because """"they just have to get together already. """" Not my favourite of Emily Henry's books, but still really enjoyed."

Rebecca (4/5)

Pass on Beach Read

"I really don't understand how most people say this is her best book. I disliked it the most out of the 4 that Ive read. The characters are quite flat. It's overall a really sad story and the enemies to lovers plot I really didn't buy into. I still can't figure out where the title of the book comes from, it takes place in Michigan."

Britney (2/5)

Easy and Fun

"I had no expectations of this book and was hoping for something light to read as I had just had surgery. It was surprisingly enjoyable and didn't read as predictable as the title suggests. It was also quite funny at times. . an easy, fun read."

Laura (4/5)

Great writing

"Read this book a month ago and I can't stop thinking about the setting and characters."

Baseballfan (4/5)

BRILLIANTLY FUNNY

"I could not stop reading this book. The dialogue flows so well and it has brilliant wit. I actually found myself laughing out loud multiple times reading this book. I will be reading all of her other books:)"

Sevda (5/5)

Naomi (5/5)

Heartwarming and soulful

"This book lived up to the reviews of being a witty and engaging romance with more depth than one would typically expect."

Beach R. (4/5)

Love

"Emily Henry is a classic in the times we live, and even though people seemed thorn between liking and hating her books, I personally see her as an amazing writer. Beach read wasn’t my favorite from her, but it wasn’t horrible. I fled through the whole thing in one sitting, I found it to be a very easy read. The way Emily writes her female characters always amazes me. They feel so alive and full, I can always project myself into them. This book was a great lesson about family and to never judge a book by its cover! Would recommend!"

Daff0601 (4/5)

quite slow

"not my absolute fave kinda slow and it was hard for me to stay hooked"

Jayde (3/5)

Read this if you can't seem to pick up a book!

"Super cute and easy read. I found it helpful as a transition to get back into reading as it is fast paced and has quippy dialogue."
