Ron Coleman has been a cartoonist for over 50 years. He was a close friend of George Crenshaw the last few years of his life and assisted George in selling the Belvedere series to Johansen International Features. Ron maintains the Belvedere website and has been a ghost cartoonist for several Belvedere cartoons and animations. George Crenshaw was the creator of several syndicated cartoon series, a former artist in the Walt Disney animation departments, a comic book artist, and magazine cartoonist. The Belvedere cartoon series was awarded the "outstanding single-panel cartoon" award in 1989 by the American Cartoonists Association. At one time, according to Crenshaw, this cartoon appeared in over 300 newspapers worldwide.
