Alex, a nurse working the busy ER shift is efficient, compassionate, and clearly loves his job. When the new doctor, Sam, starts his first night shift in the ER, he's clumsy, makes mistakes, and struggles to keep up with the fast pace. Alex tries to help him but finds him frustrating yet endearing. But as Alex and Sam work through their late-night shifts together they begin to develop a friendship that might just blossom into something more.
