University teaching, all over the world, is in the process of development and change, which is the reason why a series of researches have been carried out in order to improve the learning level of university students. However, most of the researches are very general, since they do not consider specific subjects, so that the contributions of these works do not allow determining the causes of the cognitive learning levels obtained by university students in a certain subject; reason for which the need to investigate the factors that influence the level of cognitive learning arises. In the present book, Bloom's New Taxonomy is applied to the teaching of Physics. The book is divided into three chapters. In Chapter I, Bloom's Taxonomy is presented. Chapter II develops Bloom's New Taxonomy, also called Bloom's Taxonomy Revised (Anderson and Krathwohl, 2001) and concludes with the definition of basic terms. Chapter III presents the application of Bloom's New Taxonomy to Physics teaching. Finally, references and appendices are included.
