Disappointed

"Bought this a while ago and made it last night. Pieces do not fit well. Several smaller pieces broke and had to be glued back together. The green bookshelf shown on the back doesn't fit together at all and I had to remove a book on the middle shelf to get it to work."

Harder than Lego but still so addicting

"Such a fun activity but it is challenging. Be careful with pieces as it’s very fragile. May need to glue down some parts as they weren’t holding up nicely for me. Even though it was difficult and frustrating at times I love the final product and I’m excited to build another one."

A nice slow build over two weeks

"I got the Sakura Densya model not shown here and built it over two weeks. Glue is a definite must for some of the pieces to hold them to together. My one gripe about this model is that the holes and pieces didn't quite line up and when I did get them to line up, it would cause other pieces to not line up as well making it difficult to snap/screw the nook together without having to dislodge something else to make them line up somewhat. Other than that, I love how my model turned out."

Great weekend project

"I loved this book nook, there were many individual displays to setup and it was fantastic when everything came together. I did panic at the end because I had a few left over pieces (did I forget to do something??) but they may have just been extras (I did only forget one thing that was easily fixed)! This said, some of the book and display imagery was printed weird/wrong (upside down, backwards. . etc. ) I know no one else will notice those small things once the whole thing is together but I know!"

Garden House

"For some reason the Garden House version isn't on the website yet, but that's the one I have. I was expecting it to be fairly quick and easy, and maybe a little underwhelming considering the price, but I was wrong. I spent a couple of hours over 2 days building it and had so much fun. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow, plus everything you need comes included (minus batteries but that's fine, most things don't include them). You get glue and a screwdriver for the battery pack. Only two negatives, but it's a personal opinion, not an actual defect so I won't dock a star. First, I would recommend a pair of tweezers because some of the stickers are TINY so they're hard to put on with just your fingers. Second, I wish they came with the option of the usb cable for the lights like the display model in-store has."

So much fun to build and looks fantastic on my bookshelf

"Rolife bookstore book nook was so much fun to put together (not too easy and not too difficult), and looks so cute on my bookshelf. I've had a lot of visitors recently (Thanksgiving weekend) and they've all randomly noticed it and made positive comments about it. One even went out to purchase one as a gift for their grandson who loves building and loves reading."
