Dr. Lesly Devereaux, D.Min., J.D. Dr. Lesly Devereaux is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and practiced law for more than 15 years. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad in her professional capacity, counseling individuals as well as business and religious entities in areas of business start-up and development. As a corporate executive, she traveled globally (Ghana, South Africa, China, Greece, Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, Barbados), matching U.S. small business owners with small business owners in other countries for joint venture opportunities. Dr. Lesly entered New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 2005 where she earned a Masters of Divinity degree, Summa Cum Laude. In 2013 she received her Doctor of Ministry degree. Her published thesis is "Leading with Ministry in Mind: Empowering Church Leaders to Move From Task to Ministry Through Spiritual Discernment." Dr. Lesly has a deep commitment to her Christian faith and community relating with ease to both venues and using her influence to mentor individuals seeking to gain a closer relationship with God. She preaches and facilitates workshops in a variety of venues. Dr. Lesly also has an additional publication written to inspire and encourage others who have faced challenges in their life. On This Day Remember: What God Does Not Want You to Forget, A Woman's Daily One-Minute Devotional. A sought after speaker and mentor in the area of personal development, self-empowerment and business, Dr. Lesly is also the founder of Joyful Living for Women and the host of the talk show Joyful Living for Women Talk Radio, (located on Blog talk radio). Joyful Living for Women was launched because Dr. Lesly wants individuals to know that even in tough situations there are no limitations other than the ones allowed to take residence in the mind. Through her radio show, articles, seminars, and keynotes, Dr. Lesly provides resources that encourage individuals to foster positive thinking to dictate their emotions and behavior. Dr. Lesly believes in total transparency and readily admits to experiencing successes and failures in business and in life. She believes that both her triumphs and challenges make her uniquely qualified to assist in transforming the lives of women globally. Dr. Lesly is married to Les Devereaux and they are the proud parents of three sons Shawn, Jaison and Isaiah.
