The [ ]broken Iris story is about William Iris, who struggles with psychological episodes and intense nightmares that cause him to question his sanity. William is pitted against overcoming a great tragedy, while trying to understand the soul, consciousness, along with the science behind existence itself. William finds himself admitted to Vista Mental Institution, where he discovers that his "disorder" is actually a gift. He realizes that he is able to harness the intense pain and mixed emotions from his tragedy and use a yet to be discovered power, to do right by mankind. William finds his way to the collective unconscious, which he describes as the world "Where Butterflies Never Die". In this world, he bridges a gap long forgotten by the human race, where anything one dreams, manifests into reality. The story incorporates a perspective of science and emotion, along with spirituality, as it answers some of the questions torturing William and his kind throughout our history.
