As a son of a Gallipolli veteran, Ian Minchin was inspired to write his family biography following a visit to Gallipolli in 2008 and hearing the stories of his eldest brothers in World War II. Ian has had a long career in the finance industry and later in the film and television industries. Ian is a husband, father and grandfather with a passion for both Australian and family history and is currently teaching English to asylum seekers and refugees.
