Michael Hellner is a Professor of Private International Law at Stockholm University with extensive experience of negotiations in the EU and the Hague Conference for Private International Law, as well as various Swedish government committees in the area of private international law. Nigel Lowe KC (Hon), Emeritus Professor of Law, Cardiff University, is a well-known expert in international family law, on which he has written extensively. As a member of the Expert Group, he assisted the EU Commission on the Recast of Brussels II-bis Regulation (2015) and is presently a member of the UK International Family Law Committee. Costanza Honorati is a Professor of EU Law at the Milano– Bicocca University School of Law, where she is Chair of EU Private International Law. She was a member of the Expert Group assisting the EU Commission on the Recast of the Brussels IIa Regulation (2015) and the Chair of the Commission’ s EJN Working Group on a Guide to the Maintenance Regulation (2019– 2022).
