Dr N. Subramanian is a consulting engineer and mentor now living in Maryland, USA, and former Chief Executive of Computer Design Consultants, Chennai. A PhD from IIT, Madras, and Post-Doctoral Fellow from TU Berlin, he has more than 40 years of professional experience that includes teaching, research, and consultancy.
Dr Subramanian is the author of existing titles, Design of Steel Structures and Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures, published by OUP India. Beside these, he has authored more than 25 books and more than 230 technical papers, published in national and international journals/conferences. Three of his books have won the coveted ACCE-Nagadi award and are prescribed as textbooks at several universities.
