The purpose of this book is to get the new Christian firmly grounded in the word of truth and to help prepare him to deal with the tremendous amount of erroneous spiritual beliefs and misinformation not only in the world but also in many churches. Originally this book was a stack of Bible study notes, lists and figures used in teaching new Christians about the Bible and what the Bible teaches us about God and Jesus and our faith, and how to deal with questions that people ask us when we tell them about Jesus and what He has done for us and why and how we came to understand and believe that He is indeed alive and is still active in the world today. A chapter of this book is devoted to the time of the end of this age because the events of the post World War II period, with the return of the Jews to the land of Israel, the recovery of their ancient capital Jerusalem in 1967 and their plans to rebuild their ancient Temple are all a clear indication that we are indeed in those last days of this present age and that the return of Jesus Christ is surely imminent.
