Heather Dixon is a Canadian author who writes contemporary fiction. She's a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, a managing editor of a non-profit website, and a mother of three daughters (and a 90-pound Bouvier). She lives just outside of Toronto, Ontario where she can often be found outside or on her way to a hockey arena to watch her kids play.

"Unhinged neighbours, spiralling women, and plenty of secrets to go around…Heather Dixon’s BURLINGTON is chock full of engrossing drama. While one could categorize the novel as a domestic thriller, or “neighbourhood noir,” Dixon goes deeper, exploring the complexities of adult friendships, the pressures of perfection, and the tensions of motherhood. An engaging debut!"
