It is a delight to read June''s story and be drawn into her world. I was encouraged by her persistence and faithfulness and the record of God''s goodness to her and her family. It was hard to put this book down, and I came away feeling new empathy and understanding for the people of Guyana and their struggles. -Helen Kelly, Domestic Engineer and Editor

I was so captivated by the first two chapters that I have dedicated today to reading more or the rest of it. Your story of life in Buxton resonated with me and I bet it will with many fellow Guyanese. It stirred my emotion, waking up memories of my early years and how hard my late mother, grandmother, aunts and other ancestors worked to provide for their families. They bore their struggle with dignity in preparing the path to a better life for us. -Lorna Campbell, Editor, Buxton-Friendship Express

Caryl''s Closet, by June Wood Agamah weaves her talent as a storyteller as her heart yields for the suffering people of this world and her love for people in general. It is a well told tale of sacrifice and healing, sorrow and hope all wrapped into this memoir. -Dr. Keith Wichterman

From the moment I read the first chapter, I couldn''t put this book down. A story carved out of real-life dynamics. Caryl''s Closet captures the heart. I highly recommended it. -Lynn Jackson, Creative Designer

You are a great writer/author! Wow, amazing. Praise be to God Almighty. I cannot express in words the condition of my heart, reading your book. At times I smiled from ear to ear, and other times my heart aches, and I couldn''t hold back my tears. Very captivating! -Ernestine Moore, Retired Nurse
